diy holiday gifts

It is officially the day after Thanksgiving which marks the start to get Christmas gifts in order and for whatever reason this time of years beings the biggest DIYer out of me. I love to find new ways to get a "wow!" out of people so, I am always looking for great ways to personalize or give gifts that I have put together myself. It has such a fulfilling feeling when you hand someone a gift you have spent your time creating just for them.

If you aren't sure where to start or what to create don't you worry; I have some great ideas that, as always, are both affordable and adorable!

How cute is this "Elf Kisses"? Some holiday Hershey Kisses with added scrapbook paper circles to the bottom in a jar labeled Elf Kisses...to cute!

How clever is this!?! These are the traditional peppermints placed on a cookie sheet baked and the melt just like this. How great would this be to use as a platter that you don't have to worry about getting back!!!

The word adorable and cute will be overly used in this post I just can't help it. How amazing is this little gift. The tag reads "We WHISK you a Merry Kissmas" I will definitely be doing these!

These are wrapped toilet paper rolls!!!! Then wrapped with cellophane to make them look like little candies. The possibilities with this one are endless. From little gifts, stocking stuffer, candy, etc. You could do so much!

These are repurposed Pringles cans reused to gift homemade cookies!!! Ummm....GENIUS!

Below are little hot chocolate kits made from novelty test/spice tubes...so clever! And what is great Pringles cans just so happen to be the same length as pieces of 12x12 scrapbook paper!

So simple yet so so creative! A 2-liter and you could even substitute a 20oz to recreate this adorable little gift.

These are painted soap dispensers, add a bow and wallah! You could even do chalkboard paint as well. This one has endless possibilities as well.

If you have little ones around you should be able to make this with no sweat! Baby food jar snow man hot chocolate kits. I mean where do people come up with these ideas. Glue them on top of each other add the embellishments and BAM!

Another toilet paper roll craft. And EVERYONE has access to these. Toilet paper rolls can be turned into pillow boxes so easily, throw on some ribbon and an embellishment and you have a upcycled, eco-friendly gift.

How cute are these! Little craft pots, electrical tape and washer turned Santa giveaways.

If you are quick with a sewing machine this one may be for you. Simple....brown paper bags turned holiday candy pouches. I love these....I definitely need to get a sewing machine.

Very sweet, this one will run a tad bit more pricey but if you have the $ or don't have that many gifts to give and want to do something crafty this one is fabulous. I can't wait to make one.

How cute are these!?! I mean really! You could do these for a child's class, daycare or even at work. These are large Whoppers and a red gumball.
